U know majority of the daily to daily ailments are medical ailments, eg headache,fever,typhoid,malaria etc etc .I feel MD medicine will have maximum amount of cases.Maybe thats y.

Unlike surgery one can’t display his/her talent directly in medicine…like in surgery one surgeon might have better skills and surgical acumen which directly reflects in his style of surgeries, but in medicine there are protocols for treatment like even if u are from best institute also u are gonna prescribe same drugs for HTN,DM or whatever…might be some change here and there but overall treatment protocol is similar…
Medicine is best option…no risk… within 2-3months u get patients…one dengue case is enough to prove ur skill

Medicine is a core branch…like surg…obg and paeds…always evergreen…and the possibilities for further study and specialisation is maximum in medicine…
