Why would ot cause culture negative endocarditis, shouldn't culture show growth of bartonella?

bartonella is cultivable on regular culture media then why would ot cause culture negative endocarditis, shouldn’t culture show growth of bartonella?

Generally culture plates that are subcultured from blood culture broths are discarded after overnight incubation.

Bartonella takes a few days to form colonies in Blood or chocolate agar.

Similarly the HACEK bacteria grow on blood agar but in few days not overnight incubation.

We call all of them as causes of culture negative endocarditis as after routine discard of the culture plates, the report is negative for isolation
